MPAA, RIAA joing Internet2 consortium

Looks like MPAA and RIAA are realizing that they are fighting a losing battle when it comes to peer to peer downloads, and are looking to embrace the technologies. The have joined the Internet2, a networking consortium led by the research and higher education community, in order to figure out “innovative content distribution and digital rights management technologies, and to study emerging trends on high-performance networks to enable future business models.” Now if they could overcome their - everyone is a crook mentality.
