We are porting the plugin to PEAR, and should have it out soon. You might also try using this link, instead of the one in the article:

http://www.zoto.com/downloads/zoto_chooser-1.0.2.zip

My point is that this market is HUGE and we are doing a couple of things that make us unique. We have just as much opportunity as the next guy – now that Flickr is owned by Yahoo, it’s unlikely they’ll continue to innovate as much as they have in the past.

That gives the rest of us a fighting chance, at the very least.
