Blogger Crashless (don’t you just love the internet) has a new Lenovo ThinkPad X41 Tablet PC and is blogging the first impressions of the beautiful device.  The review goes into great detail about the build quality, trackstick and other stuff such as the power management software which looks very nice.  There are lots of photos of the X41 in action so visit his blog for full details.

  1. I have a demo unit on hand and agree with much of the review. I have some issues with finish though, such as the barely functional SD slot that you have to hold the card in to get to work… I did some digging and found that my unit is not alone with this problem. As well, bootup/shutdown and login/logout times are really slow. Really, really slow. I have a HP TC1100 and TC4200 to compare to, and these are considerably faster.

That said, the screen is spectacular as is the bundled diagnostic software. It’s just a shame that it took months to get this unit and that supply is so short.
