I first wrote about SHARK last year when the innovative and eerily accurate text entry utility was made available for PCs with a touch screen.  I used SHARK on a dimunitive Sony U750 and one thing that was apparent to me was how well suited SHARK is for use on a small screen.  The researchers at IBM feel the same way as the BBC is reporting they will release PDA versions of SHARK in the near future.  The power of SHARK lies in two areas– the accurate gesture library used to decipher the proper word being entered and the customisable keyboard layout.  I believe SHARK will be a great addition to the PDA owner’s toolkit.
