Yes, it’s been around for quite some time.

  2. Yep, that page has been around for years. It was the Mac branded version of Google’s homepage and used to be the default link to Google from Safari.

  3. i thought it was kinda cool. the logo has a certain mac like appeal

  4. Here’s the list of Google’s specialized search engines:

    http://www.google.com/options/specialsearches.html

Been around quite some time, but I never use them.

  5. It’s not just a branded page, it actually offers different search results:

    http://www.google.com/mac?q=dunstan

    http://www.google.com/search?q=dunstan

Personally I prefer the mac version’s results.

  6. Shh… If you want to see some hidden Google URL’s, just head over to http://www.google.com/robots.txt. Have fun!. These are the URL’s that Google asks other search engines not to index.

The version, aligned correctly, is http://www.google.com/mac.html.
