What kind of applications can you use it for? Because, besides using the internet, I think every application used on the computer requires saving on a HD. So what benefit is there to the user?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Also, is this really a $100 device? The way is see it,
$100 for the device + broadband + external harddrive because it seems non-functional at as a stand alone device.&lt;/p&gt;
