Service providers to invest $5.8 billion in VoIP by 2008
Infonetics Research says service providers invested $1.73 billion in next gen voice equipment worldwide in 2004, and expects the worldwide spending to grow to $5.8 billion by 2008. Nearly half of the incumbents including three-of-four RBOCs have plans to boost spending on VoIP.
