DoJ blocks Alltel-Wireless Deal

Alltel will have to sell some assets in rural Arkansas, Kansas, and Nebraska in order to get an approval from US Department of Justice for its $6 billion acquisition of Western Wireless. DoJ is worried about lack of competition in rural markets.
