Lots of noise about how chinese companies are snapping up businesses in the US. But it doesn’t have to be one way street. San Jose-based NeoPhotonics says it has bought Chinese optical components supplier Photon Technology for an undisclosed sum. more

Om, isn’t there a difference though, between a private company doing the buying, and a (sometimes hostile) government doing the buying?
