At the Search Engine Strategies London a couple weeks back, Yahoo! had a stall giving away bacon sandwiches and cokctails. It was all PR people, not a search bubble amongst them.

Google’s stand was populated by Google AdWords managers, happily bringing people into the fold.

I think that says something about the approaches…

Also, Yahoo! search is happy to disqualify sites as low quality, then add them high within the search results via “Trusted Feed”.

Has Yahoo! found it’s mojo? Perhaps better to focus on relevance and quality - both in search, and promoting it.
