Long-time readers of jkOnTheRun have seen me mention how much I love writing about mobile technology.  I have said in the past that my ultimate goal was to move full-time into writing for various organizations, and I am happy to announce my first paid writing gig.  I am now blogging for ITtoolbox, a web site that caters to the IT crowd.  ITtoolbox is huge with over 2 million subscribers, and they have a complete blog section with almost 100,000 subscribers.  It is a great organization and I am proud to be associated with them, in my small way.

I have started a blog on the ITtoolbox site called appropriately, OnTheRun: Using Mobile Devices Since They Weighed 30 lbs., and I will be writing special material for the blog that will focus on, what else, mobile technology.  OK, I guess I have a lack of imagination.  :)  I would appreciate it if you would stop by from time to time and check out my new blog and of course, you can subscribe to the RSS feed.  I believe you will find the same quality of articles and mobile tech news on the new blog that you have been reading here on jkOTR.  While you are there check out the rest of ITtoolbox.  There is a TON of information on the site including a bunch of Knowledge Bases, blogs, and news about every technology segment you can imagine.  You can even subscribe for free to various mailing lists and articles.  Just tell them JK sent you.  :)

Don’t worry, this won’t change my activity on jkOnTheRun in any way.  After all, this is my baby.  :)

  1. Still reading your site :) Congrats on IToolbox!

  3. Outstanding. Just keep the “good stuff” here; don’t share it all with those IT folks. Oh wait…I’m one of those IT folks too…never mind! Congrats!

  4. Thanks folks! Don’t worry about the content here changing, it won’t. Of course the best thing for you to do is visit both sites. Frequently. As in hundreds of times a day. :)
