Robert Heiny is the patriarch of the First Family of the Tablet PC and he has an excellent blog, The Tablet PC Education Blog, that covers, umm, Tablet PCs in education.  He has posted an amazing account of the First Family’s Treeing Walker Hound, AJ, that elaborates how AJ uses Skype to talk to distant family members and even calls them by "name".  As a total dog person I am fascinated by this and amazed that AJ has accepted Skype as a tool to talk to friends.  Good stuff.

  2. Lora, AJ is adorable! I read up on Treeing Walker Hounds and they are really intelligent which helps explain how AJ talks to specific people. I’ll bet you miss him.
