Hey Mr. Big Spender… Vonage

Vonage is internet advertising’s Mr. Big Spender. Last month the company spent tons of money to buy nearly 1.8 billion ad impressions making it the third largest spender online, after LowerMyBills.com and NetFlix. At an average CPM of $4 it means the company may have spent close to $7 million. (Just a guess folks… no hard data to back it up!) Clearly its big spending ways have helped the VoIP service provider triumph over folks like AT&T in new subscriber sign-ups. Profits are a whole different story, but then we know that.

I hope you mean billion, because 1.8 million isn’t that impressive. And I think they are spending more like $2 CPM, but that’s just the number they offered me (and you).
