iTiVo?

File this one under the category - ruminations of an idle mind! Reuters reports that Apple might be looking at gobbling up TiVo. Of course this is based on comments from an analyst I have never heard of before. “What we hear on the street is that Apple is interested in their business and that they are a takeout target,” Steven Kroll Jr. of Monness, Crespi, Hardt & Co told Reuters. TiVo shares up more than 17 percent on Wednesday. I get a feeling that most people are simply speculating. We had a meme going on how to save TiVo and one of the things a lot of us agreed on was an “Apple like strategy.” Lets watch this one closely!

I guess I’ll be screaming a lot of that happens, but I still don’t see it.

Something tells me “on the street” means this and other blogs. Doesn’t mean it’s not true, though . . .
