Cell phone giant Nokia and Microsoft announced an agreement that will put Microsoft’s Windows Media Player 10 on Nokia cell phones.  This is a very big deal for two reasons- Nokia is simply huge in the cell phone arena and Microsoft agreed to introduce open standards for music compression and DRM handling of music files.  You may want to reread that last sentence.
