Either the broadband battles between the bells and cable companies are getting insane or Comcast is getting desperate for growth. It could be either of the two. Or something else. Check out this deal. $20 a month for first six months, $75 cash back, a free MP3 player and a free mini-vacation. Actually, I read the fine print. The offer is from Broadband Nation. “Broadband National is working with Comcast Corporation to bring you this $50.00 cash back rebate offer. This offer is not available directly from Comcast.” Still a pretty good deal.

This deal is through December 31, 2004! At least, that’s what the site says once I punch in my info. I wonder if it is a way for them to grab customer info!

  2. Looks screwy. Reading the ‘details,’ you will notice a $50 cash back offer, not the $75 mentioned in the headline. 10-16 week processing time. Mouse over the blue portion at the bottom of the page, and you will start seeing links in your status bar for particular states. Click a state, go to the same blue section and mouse-over for cities. Or just view the page source.
