T-Mobile, VZ want spectrum

T-Mobile and Verizon are going to be big buyers in the next spectrum auction in January, and the two need it bad. Why? Since Cingular and Sprint will have enough to launch more services and boast better quality, … that’s why. FCC is auctioning off 242 wireless licences up for grabs next month. The franchises will cover some of the major cities such as Los Angeles, Orlando and Denver as well as a host of smaller cities, towns and rural areas.
