I just received word from the producers of HeadsetPresenter announcing the availability of this unique software solution for mobile users.  HeadsetPresenter turns your supported Bluetooth cellphone headset into a remote control for controlling PowerPoint presentations.  The program installs into the PowerPoint toolbar making the it accessible from directly in PowerPoint.  This is such an innovative idea, I am going to try it if my headset will work with the program.  You can find information and a free trial version (limited to 5 clicks in PowerPoint) on the developer’s web site.  The first time you use Presenter it will pair with your headset and from then on it just works by clicking the button on the toolbar.  Cool app.

  1. This has been available for the Mac for awhile, I think. The product is called Clicker by Salling Software. It does use the handset, not headset so this new one is slightly different. Curious to see if it also supports other software like iTunes, as Clicker does.

  2. does anyone know if this permanently changes any configurations on your headset? also, is this compatible with all headsets?
    thanks, austin
