Sony_microdrive In an apparent effort to address the storage card market comprised of those not enamored with the Memory Stick format Sony has announced two new MicroDrives that deliver a 97.9 Mbps data transfer rate.  The two drives offer 2GB and 4GB capacities and will work in any device with a Type II CF slot, and the high speed makes them a perfect choice for digital cameras.  The two drives will retail for $179 and $279 making them very cost effective mass storage devices for cameras, PDAs and UPCs.
