SigmatekPersonal video players are everywhere these days and OEMs seem to be scrambling for ways to make their gadgets different from the competition.  SIGMAtek’s two new players have a couple of features that make them stand out from the rest.  The DX720 (20GB) and DX740 (40GB) both have a 6.5 inch widescreen display which makes perfect sense for viewing movies on the run. The players can handle MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DivX, and RMP video files and MP3 and WMA audio files making them rich in supported media.  Couple all of that with a CF memory card reader and an IR remote and you’d think SIGMAtek would be happy, but no.  In a move I don’t think anyone else has done yet but makes SO much sense they offer an optional GPS unit so you can use that nice big screen as a navigation unit.  Excellent idea!
