Andy on Comcast: Five Cities will be unveiled Feb 11th with another 50% of all Comcast covered in another 6 Months. The goal is to have 100% of all Comcast covered by the end of 2005. Well whatever is the real number, I have heard Comcast say in many forums that they want to transition to VoIP by 2005, without giving much details. I think it is safe to assume, this will come a lot sooner than we imagine.

The question is what does this mean for AT&T CallVantage and Vonage, among others? Will the dream of 3rd Party VOIP die like that of 3rd Party DSL.
