Nokia 9300 communicator

Folks from Nokia stopped by at work today. I got my paws on Nokia’s 9300 Communicator. It might not have wi-fi, but boy this puppy is sweet. Its not light, but its not heavy either. The keyboard is a breeze to thumb a 500 word piece, without as much as a twitch. Icons, menu, buttons, and the OS are all rock solid. Watch out for this one… this one could mean a Nokia comeback. Its been a long time since I have been blown away by a phone so qucikly. This is truly a laptop replacement. Now if they can get Go2MyPC to work. More notes from the meeting later.

The 9500, which will be out before the 9300, will have WiFi and a camera. It will be a little bigger. Can’t wait to get my hands on a 9500… :)

Yeah … it will be out in Europe. The US carriers it seems want to roll out the 9300 since it is mostly enterprise solution and will have some pretty good inbuilt stuff for supporting oracle and IBM type stuff.
