Broadband to Softbank’s Rescue

Looks like Softbank’s investments in broadband are finally beginning to pay off. The company had a profitable quarter, and is benefitting from online gaming’s growing popularity in Japan. The company is buying a baseball team to get more proprietary content on its network, and will be upgrading to fiber optic technology soon.
