Who will replace Michael Powell?

Light Reading: There are a number of names being bandied about as possible nominees should Bush win a second term, including Becky Klein, former Chairman of the Public Utilities Commission of Texas, and FCC Commissioner Kevin Martin, who worked on the first Bush campaign. • Hmmmmm. That’s I tough one.

I’d say it’s between Rupert Murdoch and Clear Channel Communications Corporation. The FCC’s been their bee-otch under Powell’s rule, so one or the other ought to be awarded the position — much like our Neanderthal-in-chief was awarded his position TWICE.
