This should be clarified - it's the S710a that will be out in December, and it's the version with GSM 850/1800/1900 and EDGE. The currently available (from several on-line retailers, and select cellular stores) is the S700i, which is "traditional" GSM 900/1800/1900 and does not support EDGE. “Available in the US in December’Äîit’Äôs been out in Europe for a bit’Äîthe S700

This should be clarified - it’s the S710a that will be out in December,
and it’s the version with GSM 850/1800/1900 and EDGE.
