DEFCON 5 is the lowest level on the scale:

DEFCON 1¬Ý: Maximum force readiness.
DEFCON 2¬Ý: Increased force readiness (less than maximum).
DEFCON 3¬Ý: Increased force readiness.
DEFCON 4¬Ý: Peacetime; Increased intelligence; Strengthened security measures.
DEFCON 5¬Ý: Peacetime.

This should be clarified - it's the S710a that will be out in December,
and it's the version with GSM 850/1800/1900 and EDGE.


The currently available (from several on-line retailers, and select
cellular stores) is the S700i, which is "traditional"
GSM 900/1800/1900 and does not support EDGE.</description>
