Xclef500I have never heard of Xclef before but they are entering the crowded portable audio player with 100 GB of storage. That is far more than the 40 GB commonly available today and even the 60 GB rumored to appear in the next generation iPod. The Xclef also provides an FM tuner and recorder plus analog and optical line in recording. Expected availability in early 2005 for $450. Just in time for some serious Podcast downloads. :)(via Gear Live)

  1. Yo whassup?

    I’m having a XCLEF HD-500 30GB.

You CAN dissamble your jukebox (http://openjukebox.free.fr/content.php?article.11) and than put every 2,5 inch harddrive in it. But you don’t want to loose battery life. So you put a 4200rpm in it.

Have a look at this forum: http://www.advancedmp3players.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=2900&hl=.

There is almost a 120GB 2,5 inch who fits in the XCLEF harddrive available: http://www.span.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=23_503_576&products_id=4223

    Cool isn’t it?!
