Intel has announced the latest entry in the Pentium M family that clocks in at an impressive 2.1 GHz. The Pentium M 765 is priced at $637 each in quantities of 1,000 and sports a hefty 2MB of L2 cache and 400MHz front side bus making this a real powerhouse for mobile devices. Intel claims the 765 offers improved power consumption over previous versions of the Pentium M. This new chip should be a great successor to Intel’s already capable laptop CPUs.(via ARS Tecnica)
