Boingo jumps on VoIP train

Boingo, the WiFi hotspot company has decided that there is a big market opportunity for the company if it can work to combine its wireless networking and voice over IP. The company is going to release a new software offering for Wi-Fi phones that makes it easy for users to find signals, authenticate themselves and manage their profiles without a thumb-numbing amount of button pushing. Now something like this could be quite interesting and will offer a lot of utility to the corporate users. I think it is only a matter of time before IPass and others also start offering this as a tack-on-to-their roaming products.
