The Cybook is an electronic ebook reader that breaks the mold by supporting unprotected content. Documents created in ebook formats like PRC, PDB, HTML, RTF and TXT, can all be read on the Cybook without DRM requirements. It has a 10″ color screen running at 600×800 pixel resolution and is powered by a PowerPC CPU. I suspect the appeal for devices like this might be for educators, or people who are computer phobic. Electronic ebook readers like the Cybook don’t offer anything you can’t get on a good PDA and at $744 this device is tremendously expensive. But it does look good.(Cybook via engadget)
