Pepper_padI recently told you about the Pepper Pad- a tablet style slate device running embedded Linux. The Pepper Pad is targeted at consumers who want to do “couch surfing”, accessing the internet via a browser, work with email, listen to music, etc. News.com has a nice video of the Pepper Pad in action and while they obviously think the $800 price tag is too high the reporter can’t help being impressed with the convenience of the device.

  1. Yea.. I agree that the price point is a problem. It would be pretty neat for, say, $200. But by then you would probably be able to get a reasonably priced tablet pc with multimedia functions.
