How do you say Fixed Wireless in French?

WiFiNetworking News is reporting that French independent, Altitude Telecom, the only owner of a nationwide 3.5 Ghz license in France, plans to use Alvarion gear to build a broadband wireless network in the country. It is a proprietary technology, like most fixed wireless hardware vendors. France Telecom is also mucking around with Aperto Networks’ fixed wireless solution, and had used its products to broadband enable the Tour-de-France. Innovacom (France Telecom) is one of the investors in Aperto. Back to Altitude- the company will start with four counties and move on from there. It is going after the small and large businesses.
