At DEMOmobile 2004, Plantronics, demoed their next generation technology headset that seamlessly switches between mobile phone, office phone, laptop and other Bluetooth devices. “Headsets have become a necessity for mobile professionals, but they’ve had to contend with multiple headsets, wires and adapters. Plantronics is applying its industry-leading market knowledge and the newest technologies to simplify people’s lives — soon you’ll need only one headset wherever you go,” said Mark Breier, chief marketing officer for Plantronics. Great idea. Now they need to come up with a way to add IPod to the mix as well!

  1. Om,

Plantronics may have gotten the press out, but the Jawbone from Aliph http://www.idgef.com/demomobile2/demonstrators/page914-1133612.html was the voted crowd favorite.

While I didn’t vote after taking a few demos of it and hearing the difference, I can’t wait for one to come out that attaches to my Nokia 7610 !!!

    Awesome stuff.
