Well it has been long time coming? For the longest time, one has argued that America Online should use its Instant Messaging client and become a quasi phone company by adding voice dialing features. Still we have not heard anything much from the company but this job posting shows that they are getting serious about it. (Incidentally, this was originally posted in PaidContent about a week ago.)The Director, VOIP Products and Services, will lead the product definition and development of phone to phone voice over IP (VoIP) products. The Director, VoIP Products and Services, will serve as the primary advocate for the product within AOL and its partners and is ultimately responsible for product delivery.
