FreeScaleMoto: In an 8-K filing, Motorola announced that it is cutting its expectation of a planned non-cash income tax charge from the Freescale IPO to $850M-$1.0B from $925M-$1.1B; which means that the IPO is coming soon. Meanwhile, Ray Burgess, chief strategist at Moto’s Freescale unit, is reportedly leaving the company after having been passed over for the top spot last month - in other words he must be mighty pissed to get his knickers in a twist right before the IPO.
