Bernie’s bigger problems

Bernie Ebbers, the deposed CEO of WorldCon (nee MCI) is in even bigger trouble according to the New York Post. A grand jury slapped six new charges onto its criminal case against ex-WorldCom CEO Bernard Ebbers yesterday - slamming him for filing fraudulent reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Post says. Each new charge results in up-to an additional 10 years in the cooler and a $1 million in fine. Apparently, Ebbers had to put up his $2.5 million Mississippi home to help make $10 million in bail. Awwww! The trial starts in November!
