Hear my comments about the acquisition on KenRadio.com

We seemed to hit on of the key points and both made the Apple comparison. That said, eMachines brings more than distribution/sales to Gateway. They bring R&amp;D, Sourcing, Manufacturing and Forecasting.

Gateway has really pooped on the forcasting of products missing in both directions regularly. In many ways they are like Apple in that regard, as you said.
