A couple of weeks back, I penned this little piece on how “Treo (600) madness was sweeping the nation.” A day later, I decided to order the new Treo. However, after filling out the details, I realized that it is going to be about four weeks before I got my Treo. A couple of days later, I decided to cancel the order. I am sure something else would come along.

Was I the only one who changed his (or her) mind? What is the company doing about this, after all this holiday season was their one big chance to make a killing. I am sure someone screwed up. Or did their hype machine did much better than they even realized. And last but not the least, the missed sales are going to have some sort of a negative impact on the earnings and revenues of the new PalmOne.
