AT&T Corp. is focusing on the consumer market, challenging Baby Bells SBC Communications Inc. and Verizon Communications Inc. in California. Here’s a comparison of monthly prices in the state for packages of unlimited local and long-distance service, according to LA Times. Okay nothing new here – even the quotes are something very routine and have read them before. Nothing sizzles. I guess if bought AT&T after reading my August 2002 story in Red Herring you could have made a tidy sum. (Meanwhile those Fu*kers at the new wannabe RH have put the archives under lock and key!)
