Courts to Phone companies: Shut Up!

The New York Times reports that federal court has a request from a phone industry association to delay rules that allow customers to transfer numbers from traditional phones to cellphones.

bq. The United States Telecom Association, along withCenturyTel, a rural carrier based in Louisiana, filed the motion for a stay with the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
