The retail giant reportedly plans to launch a line of notebooks under its own brand name next year, reports CNET News.com. This is a move that could push down prices, analysts say. This could have a serious detrimental effect on companies like HP and Emachines. As I point out in my recent story on commoditization, the Moore’s law is not becoming Moore’s Claw which squeezes players not much differentiation.
