US Cellular dithers on LNP

US Cellular in a press release claims that it is behind LNP in concept, as it gives the consumer more choices, but still the company laments that moving numbers from wireline to wireless is not as easy as the FCC is making it sound.

Well one thing which is clear - US Cellular and others have to shut the fuck up and start implementing this because FCC is no likely to grant much of a grace period in the transfer process.  Currently, it looks like 4 days coming from wireline and 2.5 hours from wireless. And yes I plan to be the first one to request the number portability - right away on November 24.
