Tribune is serving up the heat on premium content (after last week’s announcement that LAT’s CalenderLive site will go subscription from August)…Tribune Media Services (TMS), the syndication division of Tribune Company has launched a weekly premium newsletter comprised of columnists from its stable of newspapers, and syndicated to other newspaper chains…the service is powered by Yaga‘s content commerce solution.

The new e-mail newsletter program, called “Voices and Viewpoints“, offers consumers a weekly compilation of TMS columnists, including Cal Thomas, Kathleen Parker, Clarence Page and editorial cartoonists Walt Handelsman, Don Wright and Ann Telnaes.

Costing $19.95 a year, the newsletter will first be rolled out through Milwaukee Journal Sentinel‘s website, and Journal Communications’ Milwaukee broadcast properties….
