Yahoo’s profits: $50.8 million, compared to $21.4 million in the year-ago quarter. Revenues: $321.4 million from $225.8 million a year earlier.
Marketing services revenues–attributed to increase in revenues from Yahoo’s sponsored search services, as well as growth in the its global marketing services revenues–totaled $219.2 million, a 44 percent increase from the same period in 2002.
Fees revenues–primarily driven by Yahoo’s premium services, including the SBC Yahoo DSL and Dial products, Yahoo Personals, and its small business premium services–totaled $69.9 million, a 43 percent increase compared to the same period in 2002
“We are also upwardly revising our business outlook for revenues and operating income before depreciation and amortization for the full year 2003,” said Susan Decker, CFO, in a statement.
