Verizon no direct dial to India

Did you know that you can two of the five “axis of evil” countries using Verizon Wireless’ International service, but not to India. Wonder why? Anyone has any answers please let me know. [Verizon Wireless International page]

On further checking over the Internet, AT&T Wireless is offering a really cheap 49 cents a minute to India. (Nice) T-mobile is however charging a whopping $1.49 a minute. No wonder people like me cannot let go of their land lines, because cellular phone companies are making it harder for us to spend our dollars with them. Sprint PCS however is a mess - there is hardly any information on international long distance dialing.
