Primedia has dismantled its Media Central unit, and various magazines under its umbrella will now report to different sections within Primedia. “Confusing” has become a Primedia trademark. As for the online versions, the Web address for Inside.com [my former employer], the outpost of Powerful Media’s ambitious online media-on-media play that was sold in 2001 to Brill Media Ventures and later taken over by Primedia, will remain online as a portal to the former Media Central magazines. The mediacentral.com address will continue to work as well.
