Michael Rogers, Editor and GM of Newsweek Interactive (The magazine’s website is carried on MSNBC.com), speaking at the Jupiter Online Media Conference said that eventually Newsweek will charge for digital content, but not anytime soon. Unless the market has decent reading/wireless/post-browser publishing technolgies and tools, the company will not charge for content….he said the the browsing experience sucks, and I am paraphrasing here. Here’s my suggestion: try going outside the Microsoft software umbrella…

Also, according to Rogers, “Newsweek magazine makes more money in three days than the website makes in a year.”
