iVillage’s Strategy to Diversify Revenues: A detailed interview with CEO and Editor-in-Chief of iVillage. Astrology charts continue to be the most popular paid service on the woman-focused site/network. Additionally, the site runs all kinds of quizzes and tests which are premium services. The site will be launching recurring subscription services starting early next year.

Asked about the percentage of subscription vs. ad revenues, the CEO replied: “We haven’t released that yet as of yet. We’d have to do so in public, but we think that over time, it could become very significant. Then again, all we need is a wind in our sail on the ad business and it could change that. I’m less concerned with the mixture of revenues than I am with the overall revenue coming in.”
