Salon.com Delisted From Nasdaq, to Trade on OTC: If there is any company which needs to go private, it is Salon Media. The company has been de-listed from Nasdaq SmallCap market and will now trade in the murky depths of the OTC Bulletin Board. It plans to re-apply for a Nasdaq listing once its “business metrics” improve.

“While we valued the prestige of a NASDAQ listing, this move to the OTC market should not affect our core business. Our focus has been and will continue to be on the fundamentals — growing our business by subscription revenues and delivering compelling advertising solutions for our customers,” said Michael O’Donnell, Salon’s CEO, in the statement.
