RealNetworks Launches Radio Subscription Service: RealNetworks, in conjunction with the launch of the new version of its RealOne player, has launched an online radio subscription service. Called RadioPass, it gives users access to about 50 commercial-free radio stations, in addition to listings and links to other Web-based radio stations. The radio player’s features also let users search for stations by genre, list talk radio shows available for listening and display songs currently being played on various stations.

The RadioPass costs $5.95 a month, or the RealOne SuperPass users can upgrade for an additional $3 a month.

For more on the new version RealOne and the RadioPass service, you can listen/watch the launch press conference held today, archived on the RealNetworks website (link will open up in the media player).
