FT.com Gains 17,000 Subscribers Since May: FT.com has signed up 17,000 subscribers to its subscription services since it launched paid-for content in May. Around half the subscribers are based outside the UK and FT.com forecasts that five per cent of its full-year revenues will come from its subscription services.
In May, the site introduced a two-tiered subscription package, charging its users $110 or $300 a year.

About half FT.com’s revenues are from advertising, with content syndication set to make up about 45 per cent by the end of the year. For June 2002, it reported 2.8 million unique users.
